Twenty years of software that ships
Wanstone has been building bespoke software since the days when “cloud” meant a server in the basement. We've grown by doing the work — not by hiring a sales team.
Our story
Wanstone was founded in the early 2000s with a simple idea: most enterprise software is over-promised, over-priced and under-delivered. We thought we could do better — by being smaller, sharper and more honest about what software can actually do.
Two decades later, that's still the brief. We've quietly built marketplace platforms used by sellers across Europe, integration layers that move millions of records a day, and aviation pricing engines running in 24 currencies. Our oldest clients have been with us since launch.
We don't chase headlines, we don't outsource and we don't pad invoices. We hire engineers who've seen a few production fires, and we'd rather lose a pitch than overpromise on a timeline.
Four things we hold to
Small team, senior hands
No layers of project managers. You speak to the engineers building your software.
Ownership, not handovers
We design, build and run what we deliver. If it breaks at 2am, we are the ones being paged.
Sustainable engineering
Boring, observable, maintainable systems. We optimise for the codebase you inherit in three years.
London-based, UK-built
